My Creative Time Design Team

Yeah!  I can finally announce it to the world.  I have been chosen to be in Emma's Design Team at My Creative Time.  I've know for sometime now but I couldn't say anything.  SO Exciting isn't it.  I know I am ecstatic :}:}  I love her stamps and have been one of her followers for such a long time.  She is such a sweetheart!  I have been buying her stamps ever since she came out with them and you can find them Here, they are from the same manufacturer as Peachy Keen Stamps so you know that they are Top of the Line.  Go check out her Blog to meet the other DT's.  They are amazing and I am so excited to work with each and everyone of them, especially Emma.

Here is a project that I made to celebrate.  I used one of her new sets called Follow your Dreams, which I embossed.  Unfortunately, you can see I am not that great at embossing yet:}:} Any tips on how to get rid of the speckles, would be welcome.

Recipe:
Card can fit a 5 x 7 envelope
Card is made using the Baby Steps Cartridge.  I welded the Top Note using my Gypsy.
Stamped Image is a TGF Digi Grad Anya colored with Copics and I also used some Stickles
The Twine is from The Twinery in Maraschino
PP is from DCWV Grade School

I have another one:
 Front
Back

This is a Money Card Holder.
I used the Hello Kitty Greetings Cartridge.  I also used some Stickles and a little bit of Copics for the whiskers and the foot.
Hello Kitty's Face has been stamped with Peachy Keens PK760 Super Simple Eyes and Noses

Here is the picture of the Stamp Set I used Follow your Dreams

I hope you have enjoyed my projects.  Now go visit the other Design Team Members

Hugs
Kate

  11. Hi Kate!

OMGosh your cards are so cute!

Congrats on making the team! I am super excited too! I can't wait to get to know everyone. :)

Hint on embossing: If you rub a dryer sheet over the area that you want to emboss, first, that will repel the stray specs of powder and you shouldn't get any spec's.

  14. Congratulations on the DT and great job on your projects. About embossing stray specks...Ruthie is right about used dryer sheets...just rub on the page. There are embossing buddies you can buy or the Splitcoast Stampers Forum said you can make your own with a toddler sock or sew a small square and fill with baby powder or I think better is corn startch...sew it closed and use it to rub onto the paper to avoid static.
