Alexander Kai is here.........

Yes, he was born on 1/4/2011.  While it was nice to have him for my Birthday which was 1/9, it was a little bit bitter sweet for me because he is my last baby.  I got my tubes tied, too many repeat c-sections already.  But it's okay I am trying to enjoy him as much as I can, so please forgive me if I don't post that often.  I will be busy :}.  This is also my first time having my kids close together 2.5 years apart usually they are 5 years apart, so it's a bit challenging right now.

Here is a picture of him:

7lbs and 19 inches long

Here he is after 2 Weeks:

See how big his getting already!

Here is a card I made to send my adopted Aunt and Uncle:  (they are my mom's co-workers for over 20 years now)  yes that's how long I've known them so so I call them Auntie and Uncle already.  I had this ready already before I gave birth:

I used Nana's Stack for Boy, Cricut Cartridge: New Arrival, Stamp Image of Baby from The Greeting Farm, Stamp Sentiment "It's A Boy" also from The Greeting Farm and the stamp image from the bottom is from Papertrey Ink.  I just colored them with my copics.  The circle and scallop circle is Spellbinders.  Hope you guys like it.  Opps, Border punch I used is from Stampin Up!

Other than that I didn't send any baby announcements this time around, I figured everyone I know pretty much has facebook anyway :}

1st Try

I saw this at the Sweet Pea Stamps blog and wanted to try it out.  I thought it came out pretty good.  I really like it.  Let me know what you guys think.  I colored the image with Copics and some of Sakura's Glitter Pens.

The image is called Ching-Chou Kuik's Carnation of May.  I love coloring her images.  It is just so detailed.  I really do need to start writing down though what colors I use.  Unfortunately it's really hard because all my pens are on the table and I could never decide what colors to use before hand.  I am more like what ever comes to mind kinda coloring.

Altered Frame

Hello Everyone,

This is a project I was working on Today, well some of last night too.  It mostly came together this morning because last night out of frustration I was on the verge of tossing it out.. hehehe~ This wasn't my first altered frame but my 3rd but the 1st 2 was really easy.  I gave it to my son's 2nd grade teacher.  I wish I didn't forget to take a picture of that one though.

This one was a headache, I think it's because the glass frame was actually glued to the frame already and I really wanted to put a ribbon on it but couldn't.  Also I have less than 2 weeks till the end of my pregnancy and my body aches when I am  crafting since I love to craft standing up.

Well here is a picture of what I made, it's a Xmas gift for my Mother....

I got this frame from Michaels last night.  I bought 2 but I think I will be returning 1 of them because like I said it was just so difficult for me to alter it, maybe because I am tired, but it was just frustrating....

The paper line I used is K & Company - Wild Raspberry.  I then inked the edges with Tim Holtz Distress Ink - Tea Dye.  I also sprayed the whole frame with some Tattered Angels - Glimmer Mist in Pearl.

This sentiment is from HSN's 3 Birds Line and also flocked.
This flower is made out of scrap paper from the same line.  I used the Stacking  Daisy Punch and just curled them with a pencil tip.  The bling is Imaginisce I-Rock.
The flower is from Prima, brad is from Ki Memories it came glittered.  The Butterfly is Martha Stewart Punch, which I used UTEE to emboss it and Martha Stewart Fine clear glitter.  The pearls I just found in my stash, but I think it's from Michaels.

Again I used the Marvy Uchida Stacking Daisy Punch on this one and just curled the edges.  The bling is from HSN's 3 Birds line.
I think towards the end I am pretty happy with the results, I hope my mom likes her Christmas Gift.

I Have Been.....

a bit busy these past few weeks.  I have been working on a lot of layouts digitally though because it is so hard for me to stay standing up when I am scrapbooking, but unfortunately thats how I like to work on my projects, it's just easier.  I will make sure I put up some pictures later.  Only a 1 more month to go then we get to see our new addition and I finally get to have my body back - well at least half of it.  I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving.
