Dare to be Sassy Thursdays #87

It's another Dare To Be Sassy Thursday's over at SSD and the challenge is Back To School.
The image I am using is Magazine Margie  (but let's just pretend she is reading a Math, Science or English Book), LOL!  You can find this image at their Store

Here is my card:
Card Size 4.25 x 5.5
Base is Kraft from Recollections
DP is DCWV The Grade School Stack
Ribbon is Michaels
Sentiment is from My Creative Time Gift Card Sentiments

Here is the inside of my card:
For this I used My Creative Time's Embossed Gift Card Holder Die
The sentiment is also from My Creative time called Small Talk Stamp Set

Here is how it looks opened
The words "To" and "From" are from My Creative Time's Gift Card Sentiments Stamp Set

I didn't have any other gift cards.  But I though this card would be perfect for a HS student or 1st time going to college card.  The GC of course can be whatever you wish.

Monday Madness... Imagine That

Welcome to all my followers and new followers.  Remember I have a giveway which you can find here this will be open until Sept. 3 12am pst.

It's Monday Madness over at My Creative Time!  I don't have an imagine I wish did. I am still debating if I should get one or get me a printer that prints 12 x 12 since I also do some digital scrapping.  But no worries, I will share with you this beautiful paper that I got from my local scrapstore.  It's Japanese Rice paper aka Washi.  I love the feel of it, it's really nice but it was also $2.25 a piece for 8.5 x 11.

If you want something like it I say go to Michael's and look for the Origami section. My son bought 200 piece of 6 x 6 for only $4.99 using his 40% off coupon.

Okay now on to my card.  For today, we can use any stamp set of our choice.  I was really dying to use this image I bought awhile ago so I thought my sentiment went perfect with it.
Card Size 4.25 x 5.5
Base is Bazzill
DP is Japanese Rice Paper (beautiful isn't it)
Image (including the butterfly) is called Kiyomi from Sister Stamps which is matted on the Lacey Labels nestie
I colored my image with Copics and added Glossy Accents on her belt and parts of the butterfly
Ribbon is from Michaels
Sentiment is My Creative Time's Encouraging Quotes stamp set, doesn't it really look like her hands are reaching out to you, LOVE her stamp sets.

Here is what this stamp set looks like

Now go visit My Creative Time to see what my fellow creative DT's have created for you today.

My Creative Time's Shipping Department Celebration HOP

Welcome to all my followers and new followers.  Remember I have a giveway which you can find here this will be open until Sept. 3.

It's Emma's Mom's Birthday Today!  She is an awesome lady, we also call her Emma's shipping department. She is the one you can thank when you receive your My Creative Time goodies super duper fast.  We truly appreciate all her hard work on everything she does.

I heard that you liked Teddy Bears so I made this card especially for you.  I hope you have the Bestest Birthday Ever, because you deserve nothing but the BEST!

If you are here from Jen then your in the right direction.  Here is my card for Emma's Mom whose name is also Emma:}
Card Size 4.25 x 5.5
DP is DCWV Glitter Stack
Image is from Digital Delights called Celebration Charlie
Sentiments used are from My Creative Time Wow! So Many Candles and  Gift Card Sentiments
The star that you see is bling from 3Birds now I know you are probably wondering why it's there.  It's because my daughter accidentally moved my arm while I was concentrating stamping my sentiment and it actually smeared a bit of ink on it. :{

Happy Birthday to Emma's Mom!  I hope you have a very fun day planned with the Family! :}

Now head on over to see what Ruthie has created.  If you get lost along the way just head back to My Creative Time I also have the line up below.

Here is my Project
This is my actual first time really using my distress inks and playing with them.  I had to watch a short video to just really give me an idea of what I am doing.  I think it turned out good (I think), LOL
For my project I decided to make a tag.  I used my MSS Gone Campin' set I colored it with my copics and added glossy accents on the wings of my fly so it looks a bit translucent.
Yes, I love my MSS Stamp because I bought this set and I don't even go Camping, LOL! not that I don't want to but all the kids and pretty much the hubby are scared of bugs, maybe one of these days we might try it.  But this will be a tag for one of my friends that love's to go camping. I was going to make a gift bag with items to make smore's.  Her kids are going to love it so much!

Welcome to all my followers and new followers.  Remember I have a giveway which you can find here this will be open until Sept. 3.

For this Challenge, let's get out your die cuts and use more than one on your project.  I will also be combining  this card with another of their challenges over at PCP, because this image was also the freebie that Sassy Studio Designs give out as a "freebie" over at PaperCraft Planet.  For that challenge, it's all about celebrating "Girlie Girl", so simply create a girlie project.  Sassy Studio Designs gives out a free image every Friday for 24 hrs. over at PaperCraftPlanet so this is also a very good way to build your collection.  They also had their new release last week and you find those HERE.

Now on to my card:
Recipe:

DP used is Basic Grey Kioshi
I stitched and inked around the edges of my DP
For my die cut flowers I used PTI  Die Beautiful Blossoms II using my left over scrap, I also inked them around the edges and added stickles in the middle.
I colored my image Dhyana with my Copics and trimmed her with my nestie
I curved the sentiment around to make it flow with my image and nestie
My Sentiment is from My Creative Time called Inspiring Words and Inspiring Words (Accents) Stamp Set
It says DREAM "unlocks the door of imagination" (I just love it) definitely a lot of possibilities with this Stamp Set.
