Altered Frame

Hello Everyone,

This is a project I was working on Today, well some of last night too.  It mostly came together this morning because last night out of frustration I was on the verge of tossing it out.. hehehe~ This wasn't my first altered frame but my 3rd but the 1st 2 was really easy.  I gave it to my son's 2nd grade teacher.  I wish I didn't forget to take a picture of that one though.

This one was a headache, I think it's because the glass frame was actually glued to the frame already and I really wanted to put a ribbon on it but couldn't.  Also I have less than 2 weeks till the end of my pregnancy and my body aches when I am  crafting since I love to craft standing up.

Well here is a picture of what I made, it's a Xmas gift for my Mother....

I got this frame from Michaels last night.  I bought 2 but I think I will be returning 1 of them because like I said it was just so difficult for me to alter it, maybe because I am tired, but it was just frustrating....

The paper line I used is K & Company - Wild Raspberry.  I then inked the edges with Tim Holtz Distress Ink - Tea Dye.  I also sprayed the whole frame with some Tattered Angels - Glimmer Mist in Pearl.

This sentiment is from HSN's 3 Birds Line and also flocked.
This flower is made out of scrap paper from the same line.  I used the Stacking  Daisy Punch and just curled them with a pencil tip.  The bling is Imaginisce I-Rock.
The flower is from Prima, brad is from Ki Memories it came glittered.  The Butterfly is Martha Stewart Punch, which I used UTEE to emboss it and Martha Stewart Fine clear glitter.  The pearls I just found in my stash, but I think it's from Michaels.

Again I used the Marvy Uchida Stacking Daisy Punch on this one and just curled the edges.  The bling is from HSN's 3 Birds line.
I think towards the end I am pretty happy with the results, I hope my mom likes her Christmas Gift.

I Have Been.....

a bit busy these past few weeks.  I have been working on a lot of layouts digitally though because it is so hard for me to stay standing up when I am scrapbooking, but unfortunately thats how I like to work on my projects, it's just easier.  I will make sure I put up some pictures later.  Only a 1 more month to go then we get to see our new addition and I finally get to have my body back - well at least half of it.  I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving.

8 X 8 Album

This is the album I worked on within 2 days.  My BFF said she doesn't have an album for her oldest daughter so I decided to make one for her.  This was the exhausting part for me since I really didn't have that much time.  I couldn't decided if I was up to making one or not. I used a mixture of papers and embellishment since I was in a hurry I really don't remember most of them,  so I will try and write them out for you.

She also said that she doesn't have an album for her youngest daughter but I am really tired now, maybe next time she is only 4 months old after all :}:}:}

The ribbon on this is from Michaels.  The paper is from an album I got at Disneyland.

The princess stamp for this is from The Greeting Farm.  I colored her with Copics and added some Stickles to her crown and  wand.

I got this Princess Stickers a while back at Target $1 bins.

The silhouette sleigh is from the Christmas Solutions Cartridge and the bling Ho-Ho-Ho is from Aaron Brothers that I got last year for $1.

The stamp image on the left is from The Greeting Farm and the one on the bottom right is from Sparkle Rubber Stamps Creations.

These were cut from Locker Talk and the stamp image is from The Greeting Farm and sentiment from Michaels

Looking at this I think I need to add a "TH" after the 4.

The Butterfly is punched using Martha Stewart then I embossed it with some UTEE and added Glitter on them

I really don't remember were I got half of my patterned paper sorry:{

More X-Mas Cards

Okay so 6 more weeks to go and counting.  Yes, I am really really counting.  I am super exhausted but my BFF is coming in today for a visit with hubby and 3 kids.  I don't like scrapbooking or cardmaking sitting down so you can understand how tired I am.  I made her some Christmas Cards and she requested some Santa ones so I made her 6 of these little cuties.  I got this idea from Creations with Christina Gypsy Tutorial.  I hope you guys like it.  This card fits a standard A2 Card.

Neglectful

Oh oh I am neglecting my blog again.  I have been so busy making more xmas cards and money card holders for my mom and bff.  I will post some pictures soon.  Guess what I got from the mail today. My free pack of action wobbles.  I can't wait to try them let alone buy some more.  I still haven't used my $25 gift certificate at Sweet Pea Stamps to be quiet honest I can't make up my mind as to what to get, because their stamps are just all so beautiful.

7 more weeks until Baby #4 is born I can't wait those weeks cannot be here fast enough.

Yeah I just updated my Gypsy and got my 4 free cartridge.  They are giving away 6 but I already had the Christmas Solutions and Bag, Tags, Boxes and More.  It's all good though I mean that is 4 free cartridges so you can't complain. I am so happy.  Just be patient updating because it does take awhile.  Have fun experimenting with your new cartridges.

More Christmas Cards.....

I made 2 sets of this cards.  The patterned paper is from DCWV Glitter Christmas stack.  I love this paper stack and I seriously need to go to Joanns this weekend to get more paper because I ran out.  The Christmas Tree is cut from the Christmas Solution Cartridge.  I got my idea from Courts Crafts.  I used stickles and some Glossy Accents and Martha Stewart fine glitter.  I can't make up my mind which version I like I think I like the one with the white background more.  I also used border punch from Martha Stewart again. The Sentiment outside is from Papertrey Ink and cut out with a scallop circle punch.  Ribbon and Pin are from Michaels.
I think I like this one better I used glossy accents and sprinkled it with glitter.

On this one I used some Star Dust Stickles.

Cards for a Friend

Here are some cards I made for my friend.  It's really a very Belated Birthday Gift (May) that I promised her but I was having serious morning sickness and was completely out of commission for a couple of months.  I hope she likes it.

Here is the whole set!

Here I used paper pack from Me & My Big Ideas.  This pack is seriously huge 148 papers called Fashion District.  I cut all the stamped images using Spellbinders Nestabilities.  The Stamp and Sentiments I used Papertrey ink Asian Fusion and Everyday Button Bits stamps.  I colored the flowers with some copics and sakura star dust pen.  The buttons are also from Papertrey ink and ribbons are from Michaels.  The punch from this is from Fiskars-Border Punch Threading Water.

For this set.  I used my gypsy and cricut to cut the images.  The top 2 are from Elegant Cakes and the cake is from Sweet Treats Cartridge.    I used stickles for the rose and the candle for the cake.  The sentiments are from Papertrey ink and ribbon is from Michaels.  The punch from this one is from Stampin Up Scallop Trim Border punch.

Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps Challenge #15

Hi Everyone, well I broke down and got me more Sparkle Rubber Stamps.  I bought  the new Christmas Tree Ruby Stamp &  Rin and Snowman. Her stamps are seriously just so adorable.  If you haven't gotten at least one you really should they are worth it.

This week's challenge is to create anything inspired by winter!
For this challenge I decided to color Rin and Snowman using my copics, for the snow I added some Icicle stickles and for the background I used some chalking.  For the base of the card which is 5x5 I ran it through my cuttlebug using one of the embossing folder from the Asian Folder. I added some felt flower with some bling on top of it.  The sentiment is from Papertrey Ink Daily Designs Sentiment.  Hope you guys like it.

This is the inside of the card. I used a Martha Stewart Punch Around the Pages which I don't know what it's called at the moment.

Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge 38: October Inspirations

THE CHALLENGE:
Fall is in full swing, and using the month of October an inspiration, create a layout or project based on the season. The only catch is that it can't be a card!

This leaves your theme wide open to Autumn, Halloween, or Harvest Elements (note, since it's October, a Thanksgiving feast scene wouldn't really work for this challenge, but gourds, pumpkins, etc. would be appropriate!)

Okay so this picture of my son has been hanging on our refrigerator for so long now.  I think he is about 2 or 3 years old here.  He is now 7 years old by the way.  His daycare decided to put this outfit on him - isn't he the cutest look at those dimples.  I used the Happy Haunting Cartridge on this  layout and Disney's Happily Ever After.  The Peachy Keen I used to stamp the pumpkin is Monster Mash Face and for the Bride of Frankenstein is Blushing Bride.

For the pumpkin after I stamped the face, I used Kathy's technique I put glossy accents on it and them sprinkled it with some Martha Stewart Glitter.  I did the same for the Bride of Frankenstein Face after I colored it with copics, I also used stickles on her dress.  Hope you guys like it.

My Inspiration - My Muse

Peachy Keen - Let's Face it Friday - Week 2

While I am not playing favorites even though I have 2 boys  - 3 in January.  I just find it easier for me to Scrap my One and Only Princess.  I've always been an avid Scrapper but I started scrapping even more when my she was born 2 years ago.  This is her 2nd Birthday.  Time goes by so fast sometimes.  I hope you guys like my layout.  Thanks for Looking!

I think one picture is clearer and close up than the other but I can't tell so I posted both of them.

This layout is also being submitted to My Pink Stamper's Challenge something Cute.

THE SKETCH

For this challenge I decided to make a Halloween Card.  I used Peachy Keens Monster Mash Stamp and put wiggly eyes on them.  I also used My Pink Stampers Spooky Puns Stamps for the Sentiment.  The die cut is from the Mini Monster cricut cartridge.  The ribbon I got from Michaels.  Hope you like it.

HALLOWEEN GOODY BAGS and Peachy Keen Challenge: Let's Face it Fridays - Week 1

Hello Everyone!  I know it's been awhile but I've been having creative blocks lately and only been crafting when the mood strikes.  I hope you guys like these goody bags I made for my son's 2nd grade class.  All that is missing is the Candy.  I made about 26 of these bags and colored them differently, I wish I could post a picture of all of them but thought it would be too much.

The bag is made out of regular small brown paper bags and covered in some patterned paper some I can't remember from which pack but it is mostly from last years K & Co. Halloween Pack.

The Stamp Images are from The Greeting farm colored with copics, sentiment stamps are from My Pink Stamper's Spooky Puns, stickers are from Targets $1 bin from last year, die cuts are from the Mini Monster Cartridge then I stamped them with Peachy Keen's Make a Monster Face and Monster Mash Stamp.  I used wiggly eyes for their eyes.  Aren't they cute.  I also got my Gypsy so that helped a lot.  I love my Gypsy even though I had to wait a year to get it.

I cut them out using my nestabilities.  Stamps from The Greeting Farms are Hallo Witch, Hallo Bride and Hallo She-Devil and and they are all digi stamps by the way.
I added Martha Stewart glitter on her Hat so cute.

On this one I used stickles for the horn on her headband.

Here are for the Boys!  Also from The Greeting Farm: Hallo Skeleton and Hallo Pumpkin also digi stamps.

I distressed all around them using Tim Holtz Distress Ink by using a sea sponge.

A Few Things.......

Okay so I tried to work on a few things these past couple of days.  My sweet husband even bought me a stool to sit on for the kitchen so I don't get too tired.  The question now is how to attach my photo to my blog when I have the photos on my iphone.  BTW I still didn't figure it out so I just emailed the photos to myself, definitely need to look into that more.

This one is from Sweet Pea Stamps:
ching chou kuik's Growing Love
I colored this in using my copics and sakura's glitter pens.
ching-chou kuik's Fantasy Art Collection, sheet 14, plate #43
I also colored this image with copics and sakura glitter pens.  On the flowers the middle part I glued some beads on them.
Here images takes awhile and a lot of getting used to coloring them in but the end results are just so beautiful don't you think.
