I embossed the word USA on his shirt using TradeFish Designs

Peachy Keen Let' Face it Friday Challenge #17 Patriotic Project

THE CHALLENGE
Patriotic Project
Create a patriotic card representing your country! That's right - time to celebrate wherever you live! That means U.S., Mexico, Canada, South America, Africa, Australia, Europe, Asia - we want to see your country's colors, too!
  • Design must be new
  • Project must include Peachy Keen Faces
  • Link up by June 23rd {the collection actually closes at 11:59 pm Central on 6/23}
Okay so for my Project, I decided to make a card with my other country's colors.  Philippines.  We actually celebrated our Independence Day June 12.  I was actually raised by my Grandma in the Philippines or P.I. for short for 6 years.  We have a Farm with rice fields, corn fields and of course Mango Trees and other Tropical Fruits.  We actually still have the farm but the "In" thing right now is selling Bamboo which we have a lot off.
So here is my Card:

Card Size: 4.25 x 5.5
DP is from K and Co Americana
Sentiment is from My Creative Time My Little Firecracker
Die Cut is from Everyday Paper Doll
Cuttlebug Folders used: Swiss Dots, Argyle and Spots and Dots
PKS is Laughy Taffy Face Assortment

My hubby was wondering why we had to be a Farmer and not a Boxer, LOL! I told him I had to create something that represents me, he said I wasn't a Farmer I owned the Farm:}:}
But just to satisfy him, Here was a card I made a while ago when of Course our favorite fighter was in the US Boxing Manny Pacquiao to find info about this card, just go Here

Super Baby

Hello Everyone,  here is a card I made using "All Star Baby" from Emma's My Creative Time Stamp Set that can be purchase here along with her other Stamp Sets.

Recipe
Card Size 4.25 x 5.5
Card Base in Red is Bazzill
Yellow Cardstock is Recollection
I stamped all around the paper to make my own DP.
Baby is cut from Everyday Paper Dolls at 4.5", I cut the head and hair a little smaller 4"
The Cape is cut at 4.5" using Superman Cartridge.
I used my Gypsy Baby to weld the Cape on to the Baby's Body and the red one I cut extra and used some pop dots so it really looks like he is flying.
The Face has been stamped with Peachy Keen Stamp Wide Eyed Kids.
I think I overdid using my white signo pen on his hair but still getting used to that one.
 So practice, practice for me.
The ribbon is from Michaels.

Thanks for Looking.

Monday Surprise

So this is what I was working on I am a Guest Designer for Hallmark Scrapbook this week.  Isn't it exciting.  I know I am super Excited about it.  Thank you Jody.  I am huge fan and I love your store.

It's almost that time can you believe it  - almost June.  Time passes by so fast these days.  I thought I would start of with 2 Graduations Cards.

This  card is made using the Cricut Cartridge Everyday Paper Dolls which can be purchased at Hallmark Scrapbook this cartridge is just amazing so many possibilities with this one.  This is a standard 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" card.  I used some DMC floss for the tassle.  The face is stamped from Peachy Keen Blushing Bride.  I also put some earring on her Pink Bling. The black cardstock is punched with Stampin Up.  The 2010 sticker I got from my local craft store.

I always like to finish the inside of my cards to make room for writing out personal sentiments.  I also used my Stampin Up punch for this one.

This one is also a standard card 5 1/2" x 4 1/4".  First thing I did was cut all my Hello Kitty  at 3" from the Cricut Cartridge Hello Kitty Greeting which can also be purchased at Hallmark Scrapbook.  I embossed the red cardstock with my cuttlebug Congrats Folder.  The 2010 sticker is from my local craftstore.  The bottom is stamped with Fiskars  - threading water.

I like finishing off the inside of my cards especially when using dark colored paper.  It makes it so much easier to write your sentiment in.

NSD Challenge #5

This is the card I made my son's teacher and I must say I just loved how it turned it.

The card is 5 1/2 x 4/1/4
I used my Everyday Paper Doll Cartridge.  I changed the hair.  The face is stamped with Peachy Keens Blushing Brides Interchangeable Faces.  She is really pretty.  The apple I found in my kids Scrapbooking Pile that I give them.
