Hi Everyone!  I can't believe it is Wednesday already.  I have been busy taking care of my 9 year old.  He has been sick for the past week a very high fever.  He is much better today.  The antibiotics is finally kicking in so we are just hoping he continues to get better and not spread to the my 3 other kids.

I am using one of Sheryl's cute little image called "Baby Girl Hugs"

I used my Cricut Kate's ABC Cartridge for mushrooms and butterfly cut at 3.75"

I've Been Published.....

I am so excited when I received this magazine the other day, because they never emailed me letting me know that I got in so this took me completely by surprised.  I turned my card in July of this year so you can tell how unexpected this is.

My card is on page 75, but just in case this was the card that got published.

This was my first publication ever and who would've guessed it would be using the Cricut, LOL.

I decided to make 2 cards today, that means I can't decided which one to show you guys again, LOL

Card #1

DP is from Stash that my Crafty BFF Ivette gave me.

I stitched around the edges of my DP and put the ribbon on before attaching it to my card base

House is cut from the Kate's ABC Cricut Cartridge @ 3.0"

I did some faux stitching around the house and also added some glossy accents around the windows and door.

DP is from my stash again

I matted my image using My Creative Time's Scallop and Stitched Circle, I used felt for the Scallop

House image, sentiment and stitched oval die used is from the Home Sewn Stamp set (Die Sold Seperately) which will be available this Friday.

Hi Everyone I am sure by now you heard the Good News!  Starting in August 1, I will be a part of TradeFish Designs Design Team as their Senior DT.  I am so excited for this opportunity and to work with such talented ladies and sweet owner Cecilia.

I put 2 sentiments together from the Missing You Stamp Set, which I stamped in SU! Tangerine Tango and chalked around the edges.

I am so super excited to share some news with you . Cecilia owner of TradeFish Designs has asked me to be her July 2011 Guest Designer, Thank You Cecilia.   

Just a little bit about TradeFish Designs, it's a company that just opened in April 2011.  The company is devoted to designing the highest quality photopolymer clear stamps with some"Guy"-Friendly themes, Beautiful imagery and sentiments for all papercrafters.  TradeFish Designs release it's first sets of stamps for sale on May 16, 2011.  Cecilia is one of the sweetest ladies that I have ever met and the customer service for the store is of high quality, you are going to love it.

Recipe:

Card Size 4.25 x 5.5

Base SU! Whisper White and Chocolate Chip

Card stock used: Recollection, Bazzill, SU!

DP is Basic Grey Kioshi Paper Pad and Echo Park's A Walk in the Park

I used some stickles for the flowers

All the Die cuts are on Pop-Dots, which was all cut using Kate's ABC Cartridge at 3"

I also stitched around the card and used my Swiss Dots cuttlebug folder
Ink I used for the Sentiment is SU! Wild Wasabi

My Girl Layout

Good Morning Or Good Afternoon for some people.  Today I wanted to share a Layout I made for my Daughter's Album.  This was taken during Easter.This is a 12 x 12 layout.Base is from BazzillDP, Flowers and Rub On is from Imaginesce Lucy Bird Collection.  I messed up a tiny bit on the rub on.The Butterflies and DragonFlies are cut using Kate's ABC. I cut these using DCWV Glitter Paper the I just accented it using my white signo pen.  I also used my white signo pen to faux stitch around my 12 x 12The words "Simple Beautiful is from My Creative Time Camera Shy, I just love her stamps.

The Cup was cut using Kate's ABC Cartridge at 3.5", it was the first time I used this cart.

The chocolate was free cut by me and the Hugs sticking out of it was from my Herseys Hugs (My Favorite)

The stamped sentiment that you see is from Emma of  My Creative Time My Favorite Sayings stamp set. Go Here to see her whole stamp line, they are Great. 

I stamped it with Versamark and embossed with white embossing powder.
