Trendy Twine July Challenge

See the LINKS above for my previous post for Today.  It's a busy month and I don't want you to miss a thing :)

Hi Everyone, it is my 1st post as a Trendy Twine DT Member and I am so Excited.  Today is a start of a new challenge over at Trendy Twine.

This month's challenge is to create a project using Red, White and Blue with Trendy Twine or any hemp or embroidery thread.  If you don't have any Trendy Twine then you may wanna check out the store, there are some sample packets to start you off with, which you are going to love.
I decided to make a LO:12 x 12

Cardstock is Bazzill

DP is from AuthentiqueEmbellishment Stickers K and CoFor the Blue Top Note  I used my Cricut Baby Steps Cartridge at 10"For the Stars I used Cricut - Art Philosophy at 2.5" then I embossed it with the Cuttlebug Stars Folder and wrapped some Berry Red and Blue Berry Twine on the edge of the stars.

Peachy Keen Challenge #18 Anything Goes

Hello my Fellow Bloggers!  I hope everyone is having a Good Week so far!

Well I manage to get a card out today, LOL even though I was getting bumped here and there but my kiddo's.

I wanted to make a card for the Peachy Keen Challenge Anything Goes and really wanted to use my May SKOTM 2012.  I really love it especially with the matching SVG it makes everything even easier than cutting around it and I'm even able to shadow around it.  LOVE!

DP is from Echo Park This and That Charming 6 x 6 pad 

Sentiment, Die Cut and Image is from the May SKOTM 2012

My little guy felt so bare with nothing on his head so I decided to use My Creative Time's "Here's Lookin' At You" Stamp Set

Now for this I stamped the small hat using Authentique Loyal 6 x 6 pad and then embossed it with clear embossing powder and just cut around it for the line I just colored it in with my Copics.

I also used some Burlap I got from Liz's Paper Loft Boutique, at first I really didnt' know what to do with it but once I put it in my card LOVE LOVE it.  You need to check out her boutique because she is adding new things constantly.
