Ginger Snaps Scraps DT Post: Spring Distress Inks

Hi Everyone!  I hope everyone had an wonderful National Scrapbooking Day!  Mine wasn't so good, I woke up on Saturday 3am with the chills and then at 6am with the chills again, needless to say I was pretty much knocked out the whole day Saturday.  Sunday my whole body was sore and then I was breaking out in sweats again mostly in bed for the rest of the day.  By the time I am posting this I am feeling a bit better obviously.

Cori the sweet owner of Ginger Snaps Scraps has sent her DT the new Tim Holtz Spring Distress Inks and I love it. If we had time she also asked is we can make a project using the Distress Inks for today's post, I really don't like letting my DT down so I decided to just make a CAS Card.  I know right shock look right now, LOL.

Scraptastic Monday's Challenge #4

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving and a safe Black Friday, I know it has been a mad house all week last week.  Did anyone get any Crafty Shopping Done?

Anyhoo, Welcome to another Scraptastic Monday's Challenge.  I don't know about you but I am seriously having fun coloring Cindy's Digi.  If you haven't checked out her store yet,  you can visit it Here.  There is a variety of choices and they are all so CUTE!

For this weeks Challenge it is to create a Christmas card/project but you cannot use the colors red, green or gold.  Basically Non-Traditional Christmas Colors.

For this Challenge, let's get out your die cuts and use more than one on your project.  I will also be combining  this card with another of their challenges over at PCP, because this image was also the freebie that Sassy Studio Designs give out as a "freebie" over at PaperCraft Planet.  For that challenge, it's all about celebrating "Girlie Girl", so simply create a girlie project.  Sassy Studio Designs gives out a free image every Friday for 24 hrs. over at PaperCraftPlanet so this is also a very good way to build your collection.  They also had their new release last week and you find those HERE.

I stitched and inked around the edges of my DP
For my die cut flowers I used PTI  Die Beautiful Blossoms II using my left over scrap, I also inked them around the edges and added stickles in the middle.
I colored my image Dhyana with my Copics and trimmed her with my nestie
I curved the sentiment around to make it flow with my image and nestie
My Sentiment is from My Creative Time called Inspiring Words and Inspiring Words (Accents) Stamp Set
It says DREAM "unlocks the door of imagination" (I just love it) definitely a lot of possibilities with this Stamp Set.
