Ginger Snaps Scraps: Christmas in July

Hi Everyone.  Welcome to Ginger Snaps Scraps Christmas in July "Our Favorite Things"
One of my favorite products I love  Authentique's 6 x 6 paper pads.

Here is a CAS Card that I made:
Card Size 4.25 x 5.5
Cardstock in Bazzill
DP is from Authentique "Uncommon"
I inked the edges of my paper with some Tim Holtz Distress ink in Walnut Stain
Papertrey Ink products used:
Cover Plate: Hexagon Die

Ginger Snaps Scraps DT Post: Tim Holtz "Summer Distress Inks"



Hello, today is Ginger Snaps Scraps DT Post Day and we are showcasing the New Tim Holtz Summer Distress Inks and I just love them.  The colors are seriously so vibrant.
Ranger Ink - Tim Holtz - Distress Ink Pads - Summer - Limited Edition - 3 Pack
I don't have any distress ink markers so I/we wanted to experiment.  Me and my son just stamped the distress inks on an acrylic block and then used the Ranger paint brush to color this cute little PKS image.  My 14 yr old did the hat.  I did the dress and then I used Copics on her face.
Card Size 4.25 x 5.52
Background Stamp is from Peachy Keen Stamps "Cloudy Day", I distress it with the Salty Ocean ink
DP is from MME "Happier"
Image and Sentiment is from Peachy Keen June 2012 SKOTM
I also used my Jaded Blossom Flag Die which has been distressed by all 3 inks
Her head is on Action Wobbles which has been really trimmed to fit.

This picture is of Me and my Baby Boy Alex taken last year.  We were in Huntington Beach, CA  He had so much fun as you can see on his face.  Love him..  I am definitely missing this since we moved to TX.  Every year we usually go to Huntington Beach and Palm Springs, definitely our favorite mini vacation spots.

Ginger Snaps Scraps DT Post: Bling it On

Hi Everyone and Welcome to another Ginger Snaps Scraps DT Day.
For our project today we are to Bling it on or have some Bling on our creation:
Card Size:

Image and Sentiment are from Jaded Blossom "Wedding Wishes" Stamp Set
I also used my Copics just to add some shadowing on that Gorgeous dress.
I used my Tim Holtz Distress Inks to ink around the edges
Embossing up the top is from my Cuttlebug Folder
Bling is from my stash that I got from Michaels
